Front Office
Emily Wright
Emily is a member of our front office team and is a 2017 graduate of NEMCC where she obtained an Associate’s degree in applied science. She is a 2012 graduate of Amory High School. She has always lived in the Amory community. She lives with her husband Chanler, her daughter MaryPaige, and her dapple weenie dog. In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Beth Schmoock
Beth has been a part of our front office staff since June 2012. She is married to Hans, and they have two children-Hannah and Andrew. She loves to read, crochet, and spend time with her friends and family. She is a member of Forward church in Amory.
Danielle Phillips
Danielle is a member of our front office team. She is from Nettleton, Mississippi and graduated from Nettleton High School in 2012. She attended Itawamba Community College for two years and continued her education at Ashford University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is married to her husband Graham, and they have a daughter named Rylee. In her spare time, she enjoys designing children’s clothing, shopping for her little girl, and graphic design.
Bethany Ray
Bethany joined our front office staff in September of 2021. She has been married to her husband Nathan since 2014, and together they have three children: Kinsley, Klara and Kash. Bethany moved to the Athens, MS community from Wisconsin in 2006. In her free time, she enjoys attending sports and music events and spending time with her family.
Shawn Helton
Shawn has been employed at Helton Family Dental Care, PA, since 1999. She is married to Dr. John, and they have two sons, Davis and Bryce. Her duties at the office include accounting, payroll, public relations, and any other responsibilities dealing with the day-to-day operations of the office. She is a member of Amory First Global Methodist Church where she serves as the bookkeeper for their preschool. She is also active in the community as a member of Amory’s Fidelia Club.
Dental Assistants
Amy Cox
Amy began her career as a dental assistant with Helton Family Dental Care, PA fourteen years ago. She is a mother of two beautiful children. Cameron is twenty, and Livia is fourteen. Amy is originally from Amory but moved to Fulton, MS in 2011 to be closer to family. She is a member of Trinity church and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, upcycling old furniture, photography, fishing, and just simply being a good mom. She loves working with people and helping them in any way possible. She is also a Mississippi State fan and always will be. #HAILSTATE
Leslie Smaglick
Leslie has been part of our team of dental assistants since March 2007. She has three boys-Max, Sam, and Tyler. She is a member of Amory First Methodist Church. She enjoys going to the beach (her happy place), reading, watching movies, going to old-school concerts, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends and her cats.
Kerigan Mixon
Kerigan has been a member of our dental assistant team since 2020. She and her husband Waylon have two sons, Kellan and Wyatt. She attends Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Hatley, MS. When not at work, she enjoys being outside with her boys, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Isabella Godwin
Isabella, also known as Izzy, became a member of our team of dental assistants in 2023. She graduated from Hatley High School in 2019, and went on to further her education at Itawamba Community College where she obtained an Associates Degree in Applied Science. Now having years of experience, she is pursuing what she has wanted to do since she was a young child. She is a member of Vibrant Church in Columbus, MS. When she has free time she enjoys being with family, spending time outdoors, and most of all the BEACH!
Megan Frederick
Megan joined our team of assistants as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2024. She lives in Smithville with her husband Luke and two fur babies Shug and Bo. She loves traveling, spending time with her family, and her passion is to help people in any way she can, which is what led her to becoming a dental assistant in 2022. One of her favorite things about assisting is seeing her patients regain their confidence and beautiful smiles from getting necessary dental procedures.
Dental Hygienists
Robyn Evans
Robyn joined the Helton Family Dental hygiene Crew in May of 2012. She lives in Hamilton, MS with her husband Justin. They have been married since July of 2011. She loves spoiling her niece and hosting pool parties for all of her friends and their children.
Katie Sullivan
Katie joined our dental hygiene staff in November of 2016. She lives in Nettleton and is married to Dylan Sullivan. Together they have a son named Harris and a daughter named Charlie. They attend Crosspointe Fellowship of Nettleton. In her spare time she enjoys thrift shopping with her mom, traveling and attending sporting events.
Kayla Bell Wouldridge
Kayla joined the hygiene team in July 2017. She is a 2016 graduate of the Northeast Mississippi Community College Dental Hygiene program. She is a 2012 graduate of Amory High School. She is married to Garrett, and they live in Smithville, MS with their three fur babies. They attend First Baptist Church in Okolona and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Brooklyn Godwin
Brooklyn currently lives in Red Bay, AL and graduated from NEMCC in 2021. She started part time with Helton Family Dental Care, PA in August 2021, and went full-time May 2023. She has 3 nieces that keep her busy and active. She enjoys most outdoor things such as camping and kayaking, and also enjoys spending time with her fiancé and cats.
